Criminal charges filed against 3 people connected to Milford burglary

MILFORD, Kan. (KSNT) — A month-long investigation into a residential burglary in Milford, Kan. has led to formal criminal charges being filed and submitted to the Geary County Attorney’s Office against three people

The Geary County Sheriff’s Office announced on Wednesday that charges of burglary and felony theft have been filed against: Raymond Lee Wood and Ciara Carroll, who are both from Wamego, Kan., and Logan Hardie, who is a juvenile from Riley, Kan.

The burglary happened on May 1 of this year at 1012 Lakeview Street.

During the investigation, the Geary County Sheriff’s Office executed numerous search warrants in Wamego, St. Marys, and Topeka. Some of the stolen property was found in those cities. Several firearms that were stolen have not been found, but officials believe they were taken to Topeka.

The Riley County Police Department, the Topeka Police Department, the St. Mary’s Police Department and the Wamego Police Department assisted the Geary County Sheriff’s Office during the investigation.
