Hot weather will prevail for the next several days as temperatures soar into the upper 90s during the day and only cool off into the lower 70s at night. A few storms may move into the southwestern counties this evening, then diminishing late.
Humidity will climb back up on Thursday to combine with the heat and produce heat indices in the range of 105° to 110° by late afternoon. A Heat Advisory is in effect for all areas on Thursday.
Similarly hot on Friday with a heat index approaching 110 once again, then highs back into the middle 90s over the weekend with a heat index close to 105°.
