Michael Andrew finishes 4th at U.S. Trials, misses Olympics

OMAHA, Neb. (KSNT) – 17-year old Michael Andrew, from Lawrence, missed qualifying for the U.S. Olympic team in Rio by 0.56 seconds on Monday night in the men’s 100m breaststroke.

In the finals, Andrew finished fourth (out of eight swimmers). Only the top two qualified for Rio.

** Qualified for the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
