KSNT News names new morning anchor

Topeka, Kansas (KSNT News) – KSNT News is pleased to announce the hire of morning news anchor, Brittany Moore. She will anchor KSNT News from 4:30 to 7 a.m. weekdays on KSNT, and 5 to 7 a.m. weekdays on KTKA.

“I’m very excited to join the talented KSNT News morning crew,” Moore stated. “It’s an honor to have the opportunity to help Northeast Kansas continue to start their day with the very best news and weather.”

Moore comes from KTWO News in Casper, Wyoming, where she was an Anchor and Producer for Good Morning Wyoming. While in Wyoming, she was presented the 2015 Casper Chamber of Commerce’s Emerging Leader of the Year award; and for the past three years, she was awarded the Wyoming Association of Broadcaster’s Public Service Award, on behalf of the station. A graduate of the University of Colorado, Moore was also recognized as the 2012 Emmy Award Winning Reporter in the Outstanding Student Newscast category for the CU Boulder Newsteam.

KSNT News General Manager, Jean Turnbough, said of Moore’s addition, “She brings such personality and talent to the KSNT News morning show. Our viewers are really going to benefit from her notable experience and recognitions . . . We are thrilled to have her join our team.”
