Keeping your kids healthy during the busy school year

(WIAT) — It’s hard to believe that many kids are about to head back to school. With a new school year means another year of making sure your kids are healthy and happy!

One way to keep them healthy is by planning quick, easy and good meals. One expert suggests making egg sandwiches- add in your favorite ingredients and serve them in the morning or freeze them for a busy morning.

Also, avoid processes sugars, such as breakfast pastries. You can also pair a banana with peanut butter for a quick snack.
