What We’re Tracking:
- Hot and humid weather
- Storm chances returning
- Cooler weather Friday – Sunday
Mostly clear tonight with lows only falling into the upper 70s by morning.
Highs on Thursday will soar into the upper 90s and lower 100s. Fortunately, the humidity will drop off slightly by late in the day so that the heat index will again be in the middle 100s.
We’re still tracking a cold front that moves south by early Friday, followed by a weekend cool-down. A few scattered showers and storms will move through Thursday night into Friday morning, then a few more scattered storms possible over the weekend. Highs will be considerably cooler with middle 80s Friday and Saturday along with lower humidity.
