What We’re Tracking:
- Humidity sticks around
- Heating up through most of the week
- Another cold front by late Friday
A mix of sun and clouds will dominate through the remainder of the day. The majority of Northeast Kansas will see temperatures return to the lower 90s for today, with high temperatures expected to climb into the middle to upper 90s for Wednesday and Thursday.
High humidity will make the heat index climb into the middle 100s through middle of the week. However, we are tracking a cold front that will arrive late Friday, which will bring chance for some scattered showers and storms along with it. A break from the humidity and the heat follows behind it, just in time for the start of your weekend on Saturday.
