GEARY COUNTY, Kan. (KSNT) – The Geary County Sheriff’s Office says four people have been arrested in relation to a kidnapping incident in July.
Geary County Sheriff Tony Wolf tells KSNT News on July 16, 2016 officers responded to Old Highway 13 in the southeastern portion of rural Geary County after a man was found severely injured at the edge of a field. The sheriff’s office began an investigation with the victim saying he had been beaten and kidnapped from his home in rural Wabaunsee County nearl Alta Vista, Kansas and was taken to a residence in rural Geary County.
A month later the Geary County Sheriff’s Office requested help from the United States Marshal’s Service in locating and apprehending the suspects involved. The sheriff’s office says that 33-year-old Mark Daniel Lee, of Herrington was already in custody on unrelated charges. Justin David Spiker, 26, of Alta Vista, was apprehended on August 11. On August 16, Randy Carroll Fetters Jr., 36, and Story Lee Blocker, 36, both from Herington, were located and apprehended.
All four suspects have been charged with aggravated kidnapping, conspiracy to commit aggravated kidnapping and aggravated battery.
