What We’re Tracking:
- Gradually clearing out tonight
- Much cooler weather ahead
- Muggy weather holds off until Labor Day
A push of drier air will continue to spread south through the night with temperatures falling into the middle to upper 50s as skies clear out overnight.
Highs on Thursday and Friday will range from the upper 70s to lower 80s with comfortably dry air. Nighttime lows in the middle 50s with clear nights and bright, sunny days through most of the weekend. Temperatures will gradually climb back into the 80s by Sunday and Monday.
However, the low humidity will give way to muggy weather by the Labor Day holiday. Along with higher humidity, a few scattered showers and storms will return to the area.
