What We’re Tracking:
- A break from the rain through most of tonight
- Better storm chances for Thursday and Friday
- Nice weather this weekend
Mostly cloudy skies through the next few days, although some breaks here and there. Temperatures tonight will cool down into the middle 60s, with lower 60s over the western counties. Although a few showers or storms are possible, the better rain chances will hold off until Thursday.
By Thursday afternoon and evening, storms will again be likely across the region. The storms will be scattered, but will bring the potential for localized flooding with very heavy rainfall rates. Highs near 80 on Thursday and Friday with more storms scattered around on Friday before the weather quiets down for the weekend.
Lower humidity and partly cloudy skies this weekend with highs in the upper 70s.
