TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – Patients who go to Cotton O’Neil clinics in Lyndon and Alma are working to find a new place to see their doctors next year.

Stormont Vail Health announced it is closing both clinics. They say it’s because of the current 4 percent medicaid cuts and the state’s failure to expand medicaid.

Clinic staff will work with patients at both locations to transfer their care to clinics in nearby towns.

The Lyndon location will close December 31st…

And the Alma clinic will close January 31st.

Stormont Vail says patients will get a letter saying how to transition their care.
