More hot and humid weather, with just two days left in summer

What We’re Tracking:

  • More heat ahead
  • Somewhat drier air by Thursday and Friday
  • Weekend rain chances

With high humidity in place, temperatures will only cool off into the lower 70s overnight. South winds will continue at 5-10mph.

Highs in the lower 90s again on Wednesday with mostly sunny weather and a breeze from the south at 10-20mph. Afternoon heat indices will reach the upper 90s once again.

By Thursday and Friday, we will remain very warm, but the humidity will drop back a little bit. Highs in the upper 80s. However, we will continue to track a cold front moving into the area this weekend with a chance for storms and cooler weather early next week.
