First day of fall packed with above average temperatures

What We’re Tracking:

  • A little drier for Friday
  • Weekend rain chances
  • Much cooler weather next week

A clear sky overnight with drier air moving up from the south during the night and into Friday. Highs on Friday will reach the upper 80s to near 90 with south winds at 10-15mph.

Highs on Saturday will reach the middle 80s as the humidity returns ahead of Saturday night’s cold front. Numerous showers and storms will begin Saturday afternoon and move through off and on through early Sunday. At the same time, the front will sweep through, ushering in much cooler weather for next week.

Lows will dip into 40s next week with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
