FORT RILEY, Kan. (KSNT) – The commanding general of the 1st Infantry Division in Fort Riley has been suspended pending an investigation.
A spokesperson with the 1st Infantry Division released the following statement to KSNT News Friday afternoon.
“Major General Wayne Grigsby has been suspended from duties as commander of 1st Infantry Division. He is currently the subject of an official investigation and we cannot comment further at this time.”
Grigsby took command of the 1st Infantry Division in August of 2015.
