JUNCTION CITY (KSNT) – Where there is smoke, there is fire.
And that is exactly what on family from Fort Riley wants during their time together at the Jammin’ in JC. The annual jazz festival and barbeque competition is going on until September 24.
It is the second time Southern Twist has competed and they are doing it as a family.
“To find a hobby that includes my family is priceless,” said Ramon Donoho.
He returned from Kuwait over the summer and his wife, Casey, agrees that this weekend is about family.
“This is kind of the perfect time for us to connect as a family,” she said.
And while Ramon likes the competition part, Casey likes something else.
“Eating! That is the favorite part for me, yeah,” she said.
