TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) — An investigation is underway after a woman was hit and killed by 2 cars.
Around 10 p.m. Saturday night the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 5300 block of SW Topeka Boulevard..
Twenty-nine-year-old Amanda Nicholas was hit by two cars moving north on SW Topeka Boulevard. She was pronounced dead on scene.
No one in the cars were hurt. The Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened during heavy rain.
The drivers showed no signs of being drunk or unable to drive. Investigators are trying to figure out why Nicholas was in the roadway.
