Man sent to Topeka hospital after drive-by shooting

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) — Topeka Police are investigating after a man who was shot in a drive-by shooting went to a Topeka hospital for help.

Just before midnight Monday night police were sent to Stormont Vail. The man who was shot is expected to survive.

He says he was shot in the 2000 block of SE California Avenue.

The victim said he was in the passenger seat of a friend’s car when a dark SUV pulled up and shot at them.
