TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) — A Topeka man was arrested for his involvement in the murder of a man who was shot during a road rage incident.
Twenty-seven-year-old Daniel Askew was arrested Tuesday for conspiracy to commit first degree murder. 28-year-old Michael Stadler died from his injuries at a hospital. He had been taken to St. Francis Health Center Saturday around 12:30 a.m. with life-threatening injuries.
Saturday night Stadler was riding in a car on SW 29th Street and SW Burlingame Road. He became involved in a road rage argument with unknown people that led to the shooting.
Topeka Police said the available vehicle information is a dark blue Chevrolet SUV or a red or orange motorcycle.
The case is still under investigation. Police said more arrests are possible.
