TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – Topeka police report a second suspect has been arrested for involvement in the murder of a man who was shot during a road rage incident.
The Topeka Police Department says that 22-year-old Andre Rhoiney Jr., of Topeka, was arrested Thursday in Bluefield, West Verginia. TPD says that through a collaborative effort of local law enforcement and the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force, Rhoiney Jr. was taken into custody during a call for service at the local bus station.
He is charged with fugitive from justice, first degree murder and possibly charges from local law enforcement stemming from the incident that occurred during the early morning hours on October 8, 2016 in the 1300 block of SW 29th Street. Police say 28-year-old Michael Stadler was riding in a car when he became involved in a road rage argument with unknown people that led to a shooting. Stadler died from his injuries later at a local hospital.
Another suspect, 27-old Daniel Askew was arrested on October 12 for conspiracy to commit first degree murder.
