TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – It was a terrible, two-car crash on August 18, 2016 near Silver Lake.

Now friends are raising money for the families of four people who died.

The Outpouring of Love Benefit will include barbeque, horse rides, and a motorcycle drive.

Silver Lake students Devin Greeve, Gabby Greeve, and Tyler Crouse were killed in the crash on U.S. 24, east of Silver Lake. Lance Lenard of Rossville also died in the accident while his son Kade was the only one to survive.

The event will be held this Saturday and organizers say anyone is welcome.

“All of this money is going to go to the Outpouring of Love benefit as Kaw Valley State Bank, says Shawn Ward. That’s where all of the proceeds will end up at and then we will divide it to the five people that were involved in the accident.”

Events begin with a bike run Saturday morning.
