TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – With the general election less than three weeks away, voters here in Shawnee County can start casting advance ballots on Monday.
All registered voters are encouraged to cast ballots either by mail or in person. You can turn your ballot in to the Shawnee County election office anytime during normal business hours. Hours will be extended from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. after October 31. The Shawnee County Election Commission reminds voters the office is now located on Southwest Van Buren Street.
Kansas State University students in Manhattan can also cast votes on campus in the Bluemont Room of the student union. Those hours are from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Advance voting for Lyon County also begins Monday. Those voting in Geary County will be able to start casting advanced ballots no later than November 1.
