Topeka, KAN. (KSNT)-Topeka police officers responding to a domestic disturbance call ended up in a high-speed chase.
According to the watch commander for Topeka police the suspect got away after police made the decision to stop chasing the suspect due to the high speeds of the chase. At the time this story was written, police were still searching for the suspect.
This all started just after 8 p.m. Saturday when police were called to a domestic disturbance call near 17th and Clay. As officers approached a person in question to the domestic disturbance, that person ran from police and got in to a black Nissan Altima and took off.
The chase lasted just under 10 minutes since police made the decision to no longer chase the suspect at such high speeds.
This is a developing story, once we know more we will be updating this post.
