2 arrested on drug related charges in Manhattan

MANHATTAN, Kan. (KSNT) – Two people have been arrested for drugs following a search warrant in Manhattan.

The Riley County Police Department says detectives made the two arrests at 8:38 Wednesday morning after serving a search warrant in the 700 block of Griffith Drive.

Twenty-three-year-old Robert Baggett and 27-year-old Anthony Toliver, both of Manhattan were arrested on the offenses of distribution of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia with the intent to distribute, possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Toliver was also arrested for being in possession of a stolen firearm and criminal use of a weapon.

Baggett was given a bond of $10,000. RCPD says he is no longer confined at the Riley County Jail at this time.

Toliver was given a bond of $14,000 and was also no longer confined at the Riley County Jail.

As a result of this search warrant detectives seized approximately 369 grams of marijuana, $6,682.00 in US currency, multiple items of drug paraphernalia and one firearm which had previously been reported as being stolen.
