(WTLV) Frankie Gause was born July 16, 1914, six years before women gained the right to vote, and she takes voting seriously.
“I voted every year since I was old enough,” she says.
She’s witnessed 18 presidential elections in her first century.
“Roosevelt was a good president,” says Gause, referring to FDR.
And now, in her second century, there’s only been one political cycle and it is one she would like to forget.
“It is the worst,” she says, “it is awful.”
