JACKSON COUNTY, Kan. (KSNT) – The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says a Horton woman suspected in a Whiting burglary in August is now in custody.
Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse says 32-year-old Megan Marie Hollister was taken into custody by the Atchison County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday November 5, following a pursuit with a stolen vehicle allegedly driven by Hollister.
Morse says the pursuit ended in a crash where Hollister was taken to an Atchison hospital and treated for her injuries.
Another suspect, 19-year-old Shelby Rose Hopkins, of Whiting, was arrested the night of the August burglary and booked into the Jackson County Jail.
Hollister is being held in the Jackson County jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine, residential burglary, theft, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal damage of property.
