Topeka police looking for man who tried to jump in front of train

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – Topeka police are looking for a man they say tried to jump in front of a train.

The search began just after 2:30 Thursday morning near the Topeka Rescue Mission. Officer on the scene tell KSNT News they believe the man hit the train’s fuel tank in his attempt, got up and left the scene.

They say he had been kicked out of the Mission just before the incident took place.

They plan to continue looking so they can get the man proper help.
