K-State to introduce new president Tuesday

MAHATTAN, Kan. (KSNT) – Kansas State University will introduce its new leader Tuesday, the Kansas Board of Regents has announced.

A 10:30 a.m. event has been scheduled at the university’s Student Union Forum Hall, 918 N. 17th.

Breeze Richardson, spokeswoman for the Kansas Board of Regents, said arrangements are being made to have the nominated president at the event.

The board will take a live vote ahead of the announcement, she said. The announcement follows a day of negotiations with the selected candidate Monday.

The event is open to the public. Doors open at 10 a.m.
