City of Topeka helping spread the word for #WorldToiletDay

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – This Saturday, November 19, is World Toilet Day and the City of Topeka is helping get the word out.

The city was out in downtown Topeka Thursday and will be out again Friday during the noon hour with some interesting looking cupcakes, despite what the cupcakes look like the city has promised that they are edible.  There will also be a person walking around in a poop suit, yes you read that correctly, in which people are allowed to take photos and selfies with it.

The City says the goal is to spread awareness about the amount of people in this world without access to a toilet. The City of Topeka says 1.5 million children younger than 5-years-old die each year because of sanitation issues.
