TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – The Kansas Secretary of State is visiting President-Elect Donald Trump Sunday. A spokesperson with Kansas Secretary of State’s office confirmed with us Saturday that Kris Kobach is indeed talking with Trump. But they did not have any information about what position or role Kobach would play in his administration. Kobach said earlier in the month he was uncertain about what the Trump Team might do.

“It’s too early to speculate now and I have no idea what’s going to happen don’t have any expectation in that regard,” Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach said. “I’m not going to speculate what Mr. Trump might do or what the Trump Team might need in the future.”

While Donald Trump was running for president, Kobach was his adviser on immigration policy during his campaign. Kobach was a big supporter of Trump building a wall to keep illegal immigrants out.
