1 dead at Kansas City area gas station shooting

RAYTOWN, Mo. (AP/KSNT) — A shooting at a Kansas City area gas station left one person dead and another person injured.

According to The Raytown Police Department, they responded to a call around 7:09 P.M. last night where they found two men that had been shot.

Both men were taken to a hospital, where one was pronounced dead. The other man remained in stable condition at an area hospital.

Marlin D. Williams, a 24 year old Kansas City man, was identified as the man who was shot and killed.

The shooting occurred at the 5200 block of Blue Ridge Cutoff.

Raytown Police say no arrests have been made in connection to the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
