Burglary suspects arrested in Topeka

Holton, Kan.  (KSNT) – A father and son from Atchison who were wanted for three Jackson county burglaries have been arrested in Topeka.

Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse told KSNT News Thursday morning his office received a tip that Chad Gorrell and his son were hiding at a house in Topeka.  Both were considered armed and dangerous.  Topeka police took the pair unto custody Wednesday.  Both were booked into the Jackson county jail.  A third person from Hiawatha, Cassandra Hughes, had already been arrested in connection with the crimes. All are being held on 50-thousand dollar bonds.
