Three people arrested after aggravated robbery in Topeka last night

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – Three people are in jail on aggravated robbery charges Saturday night. Topeka Police say 36-year-old Shane Cunningham, 24-year-old Dakota Ray, 25-year-old Michael Washmon are all being charged in connection with the robbery.

Police say they were called to an aggravated robbery in the 1000 block of NE Wabash Avenue around 7:40 Friday night.

They say one of the five suspects remained inside.

 

Police arrested the suspect two hours later after a stand-off with police. Police say they arrested three people in connection with the crime.

The investigation into an aggravated robbery in the Oakland neighborhood of Topeka that led to a stand-off is still on-going.The home is being held for the Criminal Investigations Bureau.
