BIG SPRINGS, Kan. (KSNT) – A woman in Big Springs is relieved after her therapeutic fairy garden is back to normal after AT&T workers ruined it trying to install internet service to her home.
KSNT News reported the story over the summer. AT&T workers attempted to install service and dug a cable trail through AT&T customer, Linda Mangelsdorf-Oshel’s yard.
While digging the trail, workers stepped on fairies and ruined her herbs. She says her garden has helped her cope with overcoming cancer for more than 20 years.
Mangelsdorf-Oshel tells KSNT News, AT&T reimbursed her for the fairies and the ruined plants.
“Took five and a half months and basically the last two and a half months, I constantly contacted the contracting company.”
She says she will start replanting her garden and buying more items once spring comes.
