\What We’re Tracking:
- Chilly breezes diminish tonight
- Much cooler weather through the weekend
- Cold blast next week.
Winds will let up tonight, dropping back into the 5-10mph range for much of the night before becoming calm by morning. Lows in the middle 20s.
Highs will top out in the middle 40s on Thursday with mostly sunny skies expected through the day and light west winds.
Highs in the middle 40s again on Friday before clouding up Saturday with a few rain showers. We are tracking a big push of colder air for the middle of next week. What remains to be clear is whether or not there will be any snow along the leading edge of the cold air that moves over Eastern Kansas. That will become more clear as the system nears North America (it’s still over the WESTERN Pacific Ocean!)
