\What We’re Tracking:
- Much cooler weather through the weekend
- Cold blast next week
- First chance of snow
Mostly clear skies, light winds and dry air will combine for another chilly night. Lows falling into the lower to middle 20s by Friday morning.
Friday will start off sunny before the cloud cover begins to increase from south to north by late evening and into the night. Scattered rain showers are possible for Saturday, with the slight chance of a few wet snowflakes falling either early Saturday (west) or overnight Saturday(northeast).
We’re tracking a big push of colder air for the middle of next week. What remains uncertain is whether or not there will be any snow along the leading edge of the cold air that moves over Eastern Kansas. That will become more clear as the system nears North America (it’s still over the Pacific Ocean well southwest of Alaska!)
