Winds from the north at 5-10mph tonight along with mostly cloudy skies will keep temperatures in the lower to middle 20s overnight. A few snow showers are possible over the northern counties by sunrise.
Areas of light snow will spread through the region on Wednesday, but the amounts will remain light. This fast-moving system will only produce amounts generally ranging from a dusting to 1″. Highs on Wednesday will top out in the upper 20s.
An even colder push of air moves in Wednesday night into Thursday with wind chills near zero Thursday morning and highs only in the middle 20, despite sunshine Thursday afternoon.
