TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – Funeral services have been set for a Topeka woman who was killed in an early morning car crash Sunday involving a Topeka Police officer.
Visitation services for 29-year-old Tourquoise Monice Abercrombie will take place Thursday December 15, between 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Peaceful Rest Funeral Chapel located at 401 SW Harrison Street in Topeka.
Funeral services will take place Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at True Vine Baptist Church located at 307 SE Tefft Street in Topeka.

Around 1:00 Sunday morning Topeka Police officers responded to an injury crash involving another on duty officer at the intersection of SW 12th and SW Webster Ave.
Officer Laura Mayer was driving westbound on SW 12th Street when the front passenger side of her patrol car was struck.
Kansas Highway Patrol says Abercrombie was heading southbound on Webster Avenue without headlights on. Abercrombie failed to stop at a stop sign and hit Mayer’s car.
Mayer was transported to Stormont Vail hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Abercrombie was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
