Topekans take it slow to raise awareness

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – Topekans came together to ride slow.

It was quiet as they rode in, but they still had a lot to say.

Topeka’s 4th annual Ride of Silence kicked off at Washburn University Wednesday night.

The nearly 10 mile ride took bikers through downtown and back as a way of raising awareness for bikers who’ve lost their lives in traffic accidents.
