Armed robbery at Southeast Topeka Kwik Shop

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – Police are looking for a man after he robbed a Kwik Shop in southeast Topeka.

Police tell KSNT News a tall man armed with a knife entered the gas station on SW 37th and SE Humboldt around 7:15 p.m. Thursday. The man ordered the cashier to give him money. After the cashier gave up the cash, the man ran out of the store and headed in the southeast direction.

A silver Honda Element previously thought to have followed the suspect, is found to have not been involved in the robbery.

Officers are still looking for the man.
