Brooke currently co-anchors KSNT News at 5p, 6p and 10p on 27 KSNT, the 5:30p and 10P on KTKA 49 ABC, and 9p on FOX 43 KTMJ.

Brooke was born and raised in Goodland, Kansas, but also spent a lot of time in her father’s hometown of Syracuse, Kansas where he owned a local pizzeria. It was there she would earn a small wage, cooking pizzas and delivering them on a 4-wheeler because it was legal to drive an ATV around town.

After graduating from Goodland High School, Brooke attended Kansas State University, majoring in Digital Media with an Electronic Focus.

She started her career in June of 2013 as a reporter for Channel 6 News in Lawrence. Her small-town roots allowed her to incorporate her agricultural background into many of her stories, as well as cover an array of stories from breaking news, criminal investigations and trials, education, community affairs, local government, and of course, KU.

In August 2014, she joined KSNT News as a weekend anchor, with weekday reporting duties. Brooke has had the opportunity to cover Governor Sam Brownback’s re-election, the wrongful conviction of Floyd Bledsoe, an Oskaloosa man who served 16 years in prison for a murder his brother admitted to in a suicide note. She also was the only reporter in the Capital City to get to the bottom of an alleged rape at Washburn University. In 2015, she won 1st place for News Feature/ Enterprise Reporting for her story on “Big Rig Texting” from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters.

Working and reporting in the state she was born and raised in is Brooke’s favorite part of her job. She’s a proud Kansan who cares about getting to the bottom of issues surrounding those in northeast Kansas. Covering stories in small towns across the area is what she looks forward to most, since being in those small towns reminds her of home.

Telling stories will always be her passion, and she welcomes anyone to send her story ideas. She also enjoys hearing from viewers, you can reach out and connect with her on Facebook or Twitter.
